• Location information used to place reports on the map and show nearby alerts.
• Photos or media you choose to attach to a report.
• Camera access when you choose to take a photo inside the app.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create, display, route, moderate, and resolve civic reports.
• Show alerts and map content relevant to your selected or current area.
• Maintain your account, preferences, and app session.
• Protect the platform from abuse, spam, fraud, or unsafe activity.

• Improve Ciudadano features and user experience.

Camera, Photos, and Location

Camera, photo library, and location permissions are only requested when needed for app features. You can deny these permissions, but some reporting or map features may not work as intended. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings.

Sharing Information

We may share report information with authorized city teams, service providers, or moderation tools when needed to operate the platform. Public report content may be visible to other users. We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain platform integrity. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no system is completely secure.
